Political scientist explained the impossibility of Ukraine joining the EU and NATO

The political scientist said this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Union of Bloggers of Ukraine".

“I can’t imagine under any circumstances today that a country like Ukraine could become a member of the European Union or NATO,” Rahr said.

In his opinion, Ukraine’s entry into the EU was possible 15 years ago, "when the European Union was stronger and richer."

“While Ukraine is in the unreformed state in which it is today, Europeans will not accept it either,” Rahr said.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky called membership in NATO and the EU strategic goals of the country.
