Venezuela begins collecting signatures against US economic sanctions

“We will present millions of signatures to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres,” said Vice President Delsi Rodriguez, who took part in the march in Caracas.

As Rodriguez noted, this step is necessary for the international organization to come forward "in defense of international legitimacy and the principles of self-determination."

Earlier, Maduro called on residents to sign an appeal to the United Nations against the blockade by the United States. Prior to this, the head of Venezuela stated that he would send Guterres an appeal signed by the "millions" of Venezuelans who oppose US sanctions.
