On the way to the holidays, many people choose to take the bus. Jean-Jacques Héry, our journalist, followed a holiday en route to Switzerland. He tells us about his experience.

On Friday, our journalist Jean-Jacques Héry took the Flixbus, an inexpensive means of transport, to reach Chamonix. Arrived at the bus station, difficult to find a way to reach the bus.

In the middle of the crowd, he met Gaspard putting his things in the hold. "There, I have a tent for camping, a hiking bag with a sleeping bag and a mattress," he describes. Gaspard planned to get off the bus well before our journalist: "I decided a little at the last minute to go to Switzerland to camp and the train was too expensive."

Travelers to Switzerland

As the passengers fall asleep, lulled by the slight jolts of the bus, at the French-Swiss border, they are asked to present their passports. The bus driver, an Italian, reassures the group of travelers: "The atmosphere is good and the people are brave!"

Courage, Roman had to prove it. Leaving Brussels at five in the morning, he will finally be able to find his girlfriend in Lausanne for a busy program: "I join my girlfriend in Vevey, a small town next door, we have ten days there. the festival of winemakers and then we will move with friends, go to festival ".

At 6 pm, the bus stops in Lausanne. All holidaymakers go down. Jean-Jacques Héry will wait for his arrival in Chamonix.
