According to the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office, the case was instituted under Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of Russia on violation of the rules of the road, resulting in negligence causing serious harm to human health.
The regional prosecutor’s office organized a check of the carrier for compliance with legislation on road safety and obligations to passengers.
The department noted that the health of two passengers was severely damaged.
According to Interfax, the steering failed on the bus, as a result of which the driver allowed the exit to the ditch.
The press service of the regional government said that the bus was transporting a group of tourists from the Kurgan region to Lake Uzkovo.
The accident occurred on the 79th km of the Kurgan - Kurtamysh highway. There were 47 passengers in the regular bus, including three children.
