Earlier today, two aircraft from Gothenburg were forced to land in Malmö, due to engine problems. After a few hours, one of the planes could lift and continue their journey towards Kefalonia. Passengers on the second plane are stranded in Lund. One of them is Hanna Unger.

- When we flew over Germany, the pilots announced that we must turn to Sweden, and after half an hour we landed at Malmö Airport, she says.

In the middle of Rügen the plane suddenly had a problem with one of its engines and was forced to shut it down. For safety reasons, the flight could not continue but the pilot was allowed to land at Malmö Airport.

- Everything was calm on board and I really couldn't think of anything special when it happened. The pilots explained that the engine suddenly stopped, but more than that we did not know, says Hanna Unger.

At first could not land

In order to be able to land in Malmö, the plane first had to be emptied of gasoline, because it was too heavy to be able to land safely in Malmö.

- We had to circulate for probably half an hour before we were allowed to land, explains Hanna Unger.

In the end, the landing went well and the 115 passengers could breathe out and be evacuated. After a few hours in Malmö waiting for information, passengers were allowed to take a bus to a hotel in Lund.

"Safe before the uncertain"

Hanna Unger explains that it all went pretty fast and that she had never been to anything like it before.

- We would actually lie and sunbathe in Split right now, so you are disappointed. But it's good to take it safe before the uncertain, she says.

Tomorrow, all passengers will leave for the final destination. But exactly when flying, passengers do not know.

- Everything feels okay as long as we fly tomorrow, but you never know if it will be lost, she says.
