“Nearly 800 police officers have been trained under a specially designed training program, which will be involved in the restoration of state sovereignty in the territories of certain regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions,” the report says on the website of the National Police of Ukraine.

It is noted that the police underwent comprehensive training in conjunction with employees of the National Guard, rescue and border services.

In addition, law enforcement officers studied the international practice of peacekeeping missions.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky during his visit to Ankara invited the Turkish side to take part in the restoration of infrastructure facilities in the Donbass.
