The alert launched by the forecasting service concerns the Aube, Côte-d'Or, Haute-Marne, Meuse, Marne, Yonne in the east of the country, and later in the day the Aveyron, Haute-Garonne and Tarn in the Occitanie region. A rain-stormy disturbance advances over northwestern France. At the front, the air mass is very hot and the maximum temperatures will be very high in the afternoon Friday south-west to the Center-East and North-East, says Météo-France.

In the afternoon, in the very hot air present on the east of the country in front of the disturbance, thunderstorms develop from Burgundy to Champagne and Lorraine. On Occitania, this stormy evolution will be later at the end of the day. These storms will be accompanied locally by heavy hail, heavy rainfall and violent gusts of wind that can reach or exceed 100 km / h.
