According to the prosecution, the incident took place on July 9 in Skellefteå municipality. The prosecutor claims that the man forcibly tried to coerce a girl who was under the age of fifteen.
The man is alleged to have held a knife to the girl's neck and said he would kill her if she didn't do as he said. The man should also have stabbed her in the neck and hands.
The Prosecutor believes that the crime should be assessed as serious when the man used threats and violence of a particularly serious kind and showed special ruthlessness and cruelty.
The evidence includes several seizures, including clothing and a knife, as well as several witness hearings.
The 37-year-old has neither acknowledged nor denied the deeds.
