He cites data referring to the "authoritative Washington think tank" that suggests that American sanctions adversely affected the living standards of the people of Venezuela and exacerbated the economic crisis in the country.
“The Special Rapporteur believes that, given the gravity of the allegations of mass deaths presented in the report, as a result of the sanctions, which are supported by clear and reliable evidence,” RIA Novosti quoted the Jazairi report.
Earlier, the Turkish Foreign Ministry commented on the US blocking of Venezuelan state assets.
