The analyzes of the water show elevated levels of the bacteria E.coli and Intestinal enterococci.
- We have had different test results on a number of lake baths and this is something that we are seriously considering. It has rained a lot in recent days and we believe it has a connection, Christian Fager, leisure manager in Falkenberg municipality, in a press release.
Christian Fager also said that the municipality should have set up information signs at the affected bathing places and that they expect answers to the new samples at the beginning of next week.
The lakes concerned are:
- Lyngsjön in Krogsered
- Horsasjön in Älvsered
- The heart red lake in the heart red
- Fegensjön, Linjevik
- Sjönevadssjön
- Nyhagasjön
Even in Ljungsjön in Ljungby the water quality is degraded, there it is serviceable but with note.
