As noted, the rails laid between the two banks are necessary for the workers of the builders.
“Cars moving along with rubble for ballasting, track machines for straightening and straightening tracks, welding rails in a whip on different sections of the bridge and approaching it from the side of Kerch,” the Crimean Bridge Information Center said in a statement.
On July 18, the laying of rails was completed on the Crimean bridge. Two brigades working from different ends of the structure closed the railway line.
It is expected that traffic on the railway part of the bridge to the Crimea will open on December 9-10.
