The hotel is just 50 meters from the city hall entrance, on the other side of the water.

- It was an extremely loud bang that caused the house to shake, says Göran Andersson, the hotel's CEO.

Many hotel guests were still awake and in motion when the bomb was small.

According to HD.se, one of the hotel's guests first saw a light and then a loud bang - when she looked out the window she watched a person run from the city hall, towards the city.

The hotel's CEO: "I am appalled"

The bangs created concern as it was initially unclear where the bang came from.

- We got calls from worried guests and some came down wondering what had happened. Our staff had to concentrate on taking care of them, ”says Göran Andersson.

- Fortunately, it happened relatively early in the evening, many guests had not gone to bed yet. A lot of people stayed around the reception and the restaurant.

The hotel is newly built and opened in October last year. At the bang, staff and guests felt that the house was shaking. In order to detect any damage, the property was inspected during Thursday.

- We are looking at the window sections right now.

Göran Andersson and his staff are shaken after what has happened.

- I'm appalled. This is not just something that affects Landskrona, but a social problem.
