India to Pakistan: Kashmir is an internal affair
Kashmir is an "internal affair" and those of Pakistan are "unilateral moves": the Indian government thus replies to Islamabad after the decision to expel the Indian High Commissioner, the highest-ranking diplomat in Pakistan, following the choice of government of the Asian giant to cancel the autonomy of Jammu and Kashmir. "The recent developments regarding Article 370 (of the Indian Constitution) are absolutely an internal issue of India," said a statement from the Foreign Ministry, which asked Islamabad to "review" the latest decisions in order to "protect the normal channels for diplomatic contacts ". The note published on the ministry's website defends the "recent decisions of the Indian government and parliament" in the name of "development".
