On the evening of August 7, the Kyrgyz special services began an operation to detain ex-president Almazbek Atambayev at his residence in the village of Koy-Tash. According to the latest data, 52 people were injured as a result of the storm, one person was killed.
It was not possible to detain the ex-president. Atambayev said he intends to hold a rally in Bishkek.
