08 August 20198.40 The Venezuelan government of Maduro has decided to interrupt the negotiations with the opposition in response to the freezing of its economic interests in the US set by the Trump administration. "We Venezuelans have observed with profound indignation the way in which the opposition leader, Juan Guaidò, celebrates, promotes and supports these harmful actions against our nation's sovereignty and the most fundamental human rights of our people," reads a statement of the government.
