On August 7, Zelensky announced that he had a telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin to discuss the situation in the Donbass.
As the Kremlin noted, during the discussion of a settlement in southeastern Ukraine, the importance of strict observance of the ceasefire was emphasized.
