“After the arrest, Atambayev was taken to the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” the ministry said.
Earlier, the headquarters of the ex-president of Kyrgyzstan said that security officials were able to break into the territory of the residence of the former leader of the country and detained Atambayev.
According to the Ministry of Health, after the assault on Atambaev’s residence on August 8, four security officers and one civilian were hospitalized.
