The Japanese government promulgated a government ordinance that excluded South Korea from the preferential countries for export control on the 7th, but a protest rally was held in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul, South Korea. On the other hand, the flag raised by some administrative districts to call for the non-purchase of Japanese products has been withdrawn in response to the criticism of citizens, and there are calls for a calm response.

In front of the entrance of the Japanese embassy in Seoul, on the morning of the 7th, about 50 people, labor organizations and individuals made up of civil servants and court officials, held a protest rally.

In addition, Japanese companies will be compensated for the destruction of “GSOMIA”, an agreement for sharing and protecting confidential security information between Japan and South Korea by holding a placard, and “recruitment” during the Pacific War. We appealed that we should respond.

This month, protests are often held in front of the embassy and may continue in the future.

On the other hand, Seoul ’s Jung-gu raised about 50 flags on the main street to call for the refusal to buy Japanese products and stop traveling to Japan on the 6th. The flag was withdrawn on the 7th due to criticisms such as “I think,” or “The government shouldn't do it”, and there are also calls for a calm response.
