A Facebook report that allows you to end a lynching live broadcast. The gendarmes of Ille-Vilaine intervened Saturday, August 3 in the morning at a man who broadcast live on the social network the violence he was subjected to a neighbor. He was tried and sentenced Tuesday in immediate appearance.
The gendarmes intervened in less than two hours
Warned by Facebook that a lynching scene was broadcast live on the social network, the police of the Platform Pharos (Platform for Harmonization of Analysis of Crossing and Signal Orientation) dedicated to reports of inappropriate or violent content on internet, could trigger the technical investigations necessary to locate very quickly the phone that emitted the live, in less than two hours.
Sent to a house in Miniac-sous-Becherel, in Ille-et-Vilaine, intervention platoons from Montfort-sur-Meu and Rennes forced the door of the house, arrested a 37-year-old man who was heavily alcoholic before that he has time to react. In the same room, they find the victim, lying on a mattress at the foot of the sofa where the suspect was sitting. In shock, the man's nose is broken, his face is heavily swollen, his jaw is blocked and he is unable to speak. He was taken care of immediately by firefighters and hospitalized. He was prescribed five days of ITT.
A debt of 40 euros
A pistol with which the author of the blows had threatened his neighbor at a time of the video is also found. The man, already convicted six times for violence, failed to explain his gesture at the hearing, if not because of the alcohol he had absorbed. In the videos, he evokes a debt of 40 euros and a blow carried by the victim to his own companion. Judged in immediate appearance, he was sentenced to five years in prison, one of which was suspended and put to the test.
