The day after he designated China as a currency manipulator, Trump tweeted his confidence in the trade war with China.

A huge amount of money is coming to the United States from China and around the world, saying it is in a very favorable position.

"We will protect American farmers, and we will do it again next year if necessary."

If the results of negotiations with China are not satisfactory in the future, it seems to have indicated that they will continue to attack China.

Mr. Kerr also helped the president say that the Chinese economy is crumbling.

[Larry Kerrlow / National Economic Commissioner for the White House: Product production and supply chains are coming out of China. China does not have good economic conditions, but the United States has a very good economic situation. The biggest loser right now is China.]

Trump still wants to negotiate, saying tariffs may change.

[Larry Kerrlow / National Economic Commissioner for the White House: A Chinese negotiating team comes to the United States in September Additional tariffs on September 1 are still to be implemented. I look forward to receiving positive results from the negotiations.]

Ahead of high-level trade talks with China next month, it appears to have opened up the possibility of a close by raising pressure on China.
