The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said that the authorities do not intend to end the dialogue with the opposition

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreasa said that the Venezuelan authorities do not intend to stop negotiations with the opposition.

“Nobody and nothing will force us to leave the negotiating table in which we participate ... with concrete proposals to achieve their permanent transfer and come to a political agreement with the Venezuelan opposition to guarantee peace and stability of the country,” Union Radio quotes To Arreas.

Earlier, Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro thanked opposition representatives for participating in the negotiation process to regulate the situation in the country.

Maduro also reaffirmed his readiness to “remain at the negotiating table” to reach an agreement on peace in the country.
