This was reported by TASS with reference to the report of the prosecutor's office of the Eastern District of New York.

"A report was released in the Brooklyn federal court on charges of illegal Russian exports of Russian citizen Vladimir Kuznetsov, an attempt to export and conspiracy to export parts and accessories of firearms from the United States to individuals in Russia," the statement said.

It is noted that Kuznetsov was arrested in Dingsman Ferry, Pennsylvania.

Earlier, Russian diplomats visited in a federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut, the Russian woman Bogdan Osipova, convicted in the United States after taking her own children to Russia.

On June 7, the Kansas Federal District Court sentenced a Russian woman to seven years in prison on charges of abducting her children and extorting.

In 2014, Osipova exported children from the United States, and also filed for divorce from her American husband. However, the husband persuaded the American court to deprive the woman of her parental rights. In 2017, a Russian woman returned to the States to challenge this decision, but she was arrested.
