The United States has started restricting entry to non-visitors only for those who have visited North Korea since March 2011. There are 37,000 people in Korea alone, but it's not clear how the United States will check its records.

The government has not been able to clarify how the United States confirms North Korea's visit to North Korea, and there are concerns that the measure will have a negative impact on inter-Korean civilian exchanges.
