Anti-Maidan activist Ivan Goncharov received a residence permit in Russia. In the summer of 2015, a resident of the Vinnitsa region was detained by SBU employees for helping the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass. After his arrest, he was tortured and then sentenced to 14 years in prison. At the end of 2017, Ivan was released as part of an exchange of prisoners between Ukraine and the DPR, and then went to the Belgorod region, where he began to apply for Russian citizenship. After the publication of RT, the situation with Goncharov was taken under control in the central apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
