“Due to the low level of payment for water supply and wastewater services, a significant debt of KP Teplovodokanal for electricity was generated to PEK Topenergo LLC. The total amount of debt - 1 million 826 thousand hryvnia. In this regard, since August 1, in Energodar, the PST and TRP are disconnected from the power supply, as a result of which the supply of hot water to residential buildings, facilities and enterprises has been stopped, ”the statement says.
It clarifies that the city authorities decided to submit for consideration of the session of the City Council of Energodar the question of providing KP "Teplovodokanal" with financial support in the amount of 10 million hryvnia.
On August 1, in the town of Lysychansk, Lugansk region, due to debts, the power supply to the pump station was cut off. About 13 thousand subscribers remained without water supply.
On June 25, part of the Ukrainian city of Poltava was left without water because of debts for the company “Poltavavodokanal” for electricity.
