The petition itself is published on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
“Today, the parliament, as the supreme institution of representative power, can and should act as a forward in drafting the laws necessary for a political settlement of the conflict,” the statement said on the party’s press service website.
The statement also notes that helping the residents of Donbass is a duty of the entire Ukrainian society.
“We do not have the right to turn onto the path of our predecessors and continue to lead the country along the road of war, poverty and devastation,” the report states.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian party “Servant of the People” Dmitry Razumkov spoke about his opinion on the end of the conflict in the Donbass.
