In Baghdad, denied the identity of the detained tanker to Iraq

It is reported by Al Arabiya with reference to the statement of the Ministry of Transport of Iraq.

Earlier, the military of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) detained a foreign tanker in the Persian Gulf. According to Tehran, the ship transported 700 thousand liters of smuggled oil to Arab countries.

Subsequently, the IRGC stated that the tanker detained in the Persian Gulf belonged to Iraq.

It was noted that the ship was sent to the port in the Iranian province of Bushehr. Onboard there were seven crew members, all of them were detained.
