Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez scored the goal of last-minute (2-1) victory against Arsenal to allow FC Barcelona to lift the honoring Gamper Trophy, in what was Antoine Griezmann's first match under the blaugrana jersey.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring for Arsenal (36), but his realization was neutralized by the goal against his teammate Ainsley Maitland-Niles (69). Suarez then delivered the Catalans a cross volley (89th), the fallout of a magnificent opening Sergi Roberto.

The Uruguayan offered the trophy to his team, which did not include the Argentine Lionel Messi (he returned to the group Sunday after his holidays). The latter nevertheless sent a few words to the supporters before the match for the presentation of the 2019-2020 "Barça" squad.

Barcelona has quickly gained the upper hand in the game by retaining the ball, but has not managed to create opportunities frank, despite the intelligent calls of Antoine Griezmann, arrived in Catalonia this summer since Atlético Madrid, in the English surface.

Arsenal, struggling, tried to multiply the fast counter-attacks, but the "Gunners" have never managed to get rid of the pressure of the high Barcelona.

"Barça" moved up a gear in the second period, after Maitland-Niles' goal against their side, to win their first trophy, two weeks after the La Liga restart on 16 August in Bilbao.
