Meanwhile, the pages of some users who are supposedly going to take part in the rally are blank, also there are no photos in the profile and no information about friends. Among the nicknames of these users are such as "Lough Lough", "John Snow", "Quiet Omut".

SMM expert, commercial director of digital-agency "Interium" Alexey Astafyev commented on the situation, assessing the possibility of artificial cheating bots.

“It’s hard to imagine that a person will be specially registered on Facebook, all stages, call himself“ Lough Loch ”and come to the group just to like. This is some kind of unthinkable combination. It's like getting into the right pocket with your left hand. Therefore, there is some cheating, ”said the expert.

Astafyev also spoke about the main signs of using bots.

“If they save money on cheating, then these are some terrible bots: a person is clearly not from Russia, a nickname is some kind of complete abracadabra, with numbers or an incomprehensible set of letters. And his page is usually empty or closed. This is an example of a cheap, simplest bot. But there are different techniques with which to fill the bots, and they become a little more like living people - overgrown with friends, as a rule, photos appear. Bots that cost more and look a little better, ”explained the expert.

Astafyev also added that if tens of thousands signed up for the event, this does not mean that each of them really comes to the rally.

“If a person likes a social political event, it means that he has paid attention to it and agrees with something, but this does not mean that he is ready for offline, direct action. Conversion there will be maybe even less percent. This is a PR occasion, ”he explained.

Earlier it became known that the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office had warned Lyubov Sobol about the inadmissibility of breaking the law in connection with the planned uncoordinated procession along the Boulevard Ring on August 3.
