The most reported cases in St. Petersburg - 4.7 thousand patients. In second place is Moscow (2.8 thousand).

Next come Tatarstan (2.5 thousand), Bashkortostan (2.4 thousand) and the Chelyabinsk Region (2.1 thousand).

The least newly detected cases of mental disorders were found in the Nenets Autonomous District (8 patients), in Chukotka (44), in the Magadan Region (56), the Murmansk Region (71) and Sevastopol (88).

In 2018, a total of 59.1 thousand people were diagnosed with mental disorders in Russia in 2018 for the first time in their lives. It clarifies that this number does not include cases of mental disorders associated with the use of psychoactive substances.
