Rome (AP) - A German and an Austrian have died in canyoning in the Italian Alps. The 48-year-old and the 41-year-old were killed in a whitewater ravine on the Swiss border. This was communicated by the mountain rescue. They had been traveling with a group of German-speaking tourists and did not return to their accommodation during the night. Then the landlord alarmed the rescue. One man was found dead in ropes entangled under a waterfall, the other had been discovered further downriver.
