The Algerian Ministry of National Defense announced on Saturday that a terrorist surrendered to the military authorities in Tamanrasset, the southernmost region of Algeria.
The ministry said in a statement that the person who surrendered, joined the terrorist groups in 2016, noting that he had a Kalashnikov, two hand grenades and ammunition.
The Algerian army arrested seven terrorists and 34 support elements for terrorist groups, as well as the destruction of 11 workshops and a cache of terrorists, in various operations during the month of July, and also reserved an arsenal of weapons and ammunition.
