The French volleyball team dismissed three sets to zero the United States (25-22, 25-18, 25-18), Friday in Tours, preparing perfectly for its Olympic qualification tournament (TQO), the weekend next (9-11 August) in Poland.
After a first contested round, the men of Laurent Tillie have mastered the situation without being ever in danger. A solid performance that is reflected in a score logically without appeal.
At the TQO next week, France will need such a mastery to stand up to the favorite: Poland, two-time world champion and who will be able to field the best player in the world, the Cuban naturalized Polish Wilfredo Leon.
In this four-a-side tournament, also with Slovenia and Tunisia, only one qualifying ticket for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 will be distributed, at first of course.
