In the afternoon, a veil of high clouds will gradually cover the northern half of the country.

The weather will be rather sunny Saturday, except on the regions near the Channel, forecast Météo-France. The day will begin under a sunny sky over most of the country, even if the cloud will be important from the Hauts-de-France to the East. A cloudier sky and pockets of greyness will also mask the sky of Brittany early in the day.

During the morning and until the beginning of the afternoon, scattered showers will be possible under a cloudy sky from Brittany to Normandy. A veil of high clouds will gradually cover the northern half of the country.

Up to 35 degrees in Provence

In the afternoon, the sun will dominate over a good half of southern France as well as the Pays-de-la-Loire and the Center-Val-de-Loire. The clouds of altitude will become increasingly dense from the Paris region to Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Cumulus clouds will burst on the massifs and some showers will be possible on the relief of Corsica and the Pyrenees.

At daybreak, the thermometer will show 11 to 17 degrees globally over the whole country, and around 20 degrees on the Mediterranean coast. Maximum temperatures will reach 21 to 23 along the Channel coast, and will rise in the rest of the country, generally ranging from 27 to 31 degrees, with peaks of 32 to 35 in the Garonne valley and in Provence.
