Between morning greyness and small showers, the weather will change Friday on almost all of France.

On Friday, some showers are still expected in the morning, while elsewhere the sky will be changing throughout the day, according to Météo-France forecasts.

Storms on the Jura and the Alps

At the beginning of the day, some showers will linger from Alsace and Lorraine to Burgundy-Franche-Comté and Auvergne Rhône-Alpes. These showers will be more frequent and stormy on the Jura and especially the northern Alps. They will then give way to wider clearings in the plains. The alpine massif will however remain exposed to some stormy departures in the afternoon. Unstable weather will also affect Corsica, with showers especially in the morning.

Everywhere else, the sky will be changing. In the morning, there will be frequent gray gloom sometimes lined with mists between the Pyrenean foothills and the Garonne, as well as from Brittany to the Hauts-de-France. They will evolve towards a variable sky, cloudy cumulus. Small showers may be triggered near the Belgian border. Clouds will also swell in the afternoon on the eastern Pyrenees and the southern Alps, bringing some showers, even a storm to the Mercantour.

Mistral and Tramontane

On the rest of the country, sunny spells and harmless cloudy periods will alternate. A veil of clouds of altitude will approach the Breton point during the afternoon current. Mistral and Tramontane will blow gusts of 60 to 70 km / h in their fields. The west wind will strengthen the afternoon on the Var coast and Corsican caps.

On temperature, the minimum will be between 11 to 15 degrees in general, between 14 to 18 on the southwest, and close to 20 degrees on the shores of the Mediterranean. The maximum will reach 21 to 26 degrees on the departments bordering the Channel and the Hauts-de-France, 30 to 35 on the Mediterranean regions, 25 to 30 on the rest of the country.
