Help was delivered to the settlement of the Irkutsk region cut off by the flood

The servicemen of the Central Military District (TSO), together with the staff of the Emergencies Ministry and the Russian Guard, delivered humanitarian aid to the village of Oktyabrsky-2 in the Irkutsk Region, which was cut off as a result of the flood.



This informs RIA Novosti with reference to the Central Military District.

The ministry reported that 350 families live in this settlement, located 40 km from Tulun.

“Humanitarian cargo, which included drinking water, cereals, canned food, bread, baked at a military bakery, was brought to the village by a Mi-8 helicopter. Total residents distributed 2.5 tons of humanitarian aid, “- said in a statement.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian leader Vladimir Putin ordered to assess the damage caused to houses and social infrastructure in the Irkutsk region as a result of flooding.
