Aviation Ministry of Defense eliminated 18 fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

According to the defense department, the aircraft of the Military Transport Aviation VCS made 18 sorties and eliminated 18 outbreaks of fire.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense Dmitry Bulgakov arrived in the region to coordinate the work of the department.

Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee, Colonel-General Vladimir Shamanov, in an interview with the ANF, noted that the scale of fires in the Far Eastern Siberian zone exceeded the capabilities of the Emergencies Ministry, so the Defense Ministry forces were involved.
