Part of the Ukrainian city left without water because of debt

In the town of Lysychansk, Luhansk region, the power supply to the pumping station was cut off due to debts. About 13 thousand subscribers remained without water supply.

It is reported by the State Emergency Service (GosChS) of Ukraine.

“On July 31, as a result of the debt for electricity, the Lisichanskvodokanal pumping station in Lisichansk was disconnected. A part of the city (about 13 thousand subscribers) remained without water supply, ”the statement says.

It is noted that water flows to consumers by gravity.

Earlier in Kyivvodokanal they stated that a large part of Kiev could face serious problems with drinking water due to construction work near the waterworks.

On June 25, part of the Ukrainian city of Poltava was left without water because of debts for the company “Poltavavodokanal” for electricity.
