A new round of peace negotiations in Syria began in the Kazakh capital of Nurstan, while battles between the regime and the armed opposition are taking place in the countryside of Hama. The raids continue on the villages of Idlib and Hama.

The 13th round of the high-level international forum on Syria, which focused on two days of developments in Idlib and north-eastern Syria, was launched in the 13th round of the high-level international forum on Syria and measures to boost trust between the conflicting parties in order to move the political process and form the Constitutional Commission.

Advance to system
In fact, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the forces of the regime achieved their first progress in two months ago and took control of the villages of Husraiya, Abu Raida, Aziziyah and Al-Rayyah districts in the northern suburbs of Hama.

The Observatory pointed out that the forces of the regime is seeking through these attempts to progress to secure the path of Skeptibeh - the strategic harbinger and the removal of factions from the region, after the factions had cut the road by controlling the hill of salt and the forehead.

For his part, pledged the Director of the Political Department of the Syrian army, General Hassan Hassan in a press interview to control Idlib if Russia did not reach a diplomatic agreement with Turkey during the negotiations.

UN investigation
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterich announced today that a commission of inquiry would be formed to "destroy and damage facilities registered in non-engagement areas and UN-supported facilities" in northern Syria and called on all concerned parties to cooperate with the commission.

"We regret Guterich's decision to form an internal UN investigation committee on Syria, and we believe he made a mistake after being pressured," said the deputy Russian ambassador to the UN Security Council.

The warring parties are provided with information on sites supported by the United Nations and other humanitarian sites such as hospitals and medical centers in an effort to protect them, but the United Nations suspects that this move has made these facilities targets.

Russia and the Syrian regime claim their forces are not targeting civilians or civilian infrastructure, and have questioned the sources used by the United Nations to verify the attacks.
