Medvedev arrived in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on a working visit

According to the press service of the Russian government, Medvedev will meet with the acting governor of the region, Valery Limarenko.

“On August 2, in the Sakhalin region, Medvedev will examine social and infrastructural institutions and facilities in the region and hold a meeting on the socio-economic development of economic growth centers in the Far East,” the report says.

Earlier, Medvedev ordered to allocate more than 15 billion rubles for the development of economic growth centers in the Far Eastern Federal District (DFO).
