▲ North Korea launches new tactical guided weapon (short-range ballistic missile) on 25th

The military has designated North Korea today as a short-range ballistic missile.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff said, "North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles at 5:06 am and 5:27 am in the western part of the Karma area of Wonsan."

The short-range ballistic missile is estimated to be about 30km in altitude and about 250km in flight, the Joint Chief said.

Today, the missile is about 20 km below the North Korean version of Iskandar, and the flight is shorter than 300 km.

The missile shot by North Korea in May was also 50km higher than today 's missile.

He added that the JCS is analyzing precise specifications in the ROK intelligence agency.

The military has urged Pyongyang to shut down the North Korean missile launch, which is not helping to ease tensions on the peninsula.
