Saturday, after the heat wave, the weather will be disrupted and stormy, announced Météo France Friday, the maximum temperatures continuing to decline. A rainy and locally stormy disturbance in the morning from southwestern to northern Canada will gradually shift to the eastern regions. The rains will be stormy in the morning, from Rhone-Alpes to Hauts-de-France, then to the northeast, in the afternoon, where some thunderstorms are expected, sometimes heavy rains, hail and strong gusts of wind, especially on departments in orange vigilance.
A few stormy rains
Around the Mediterranean, the conditions will be calmer despite cloud overflows giving a risk of showers. However, the sometimes stormy rains on the Southwest will eventually hit the Gulf of Lion. The tramontane and mistral will strengthen from the evening. Finally, after this rain-unstable passage, the conditions will calm down by the North-West. The sky will remain quite heavy with only a few showers and this lull will win towards Aquitaine, the Center of the country and Normandy.
Cooler temperatures
The minimum temperatures will vary between 12 and 18 degrees in general, 18 to 22 around the Mediterranean and towards Alsace. The maximum temperatures will continue to cool with 20 to 23 degrees over a large part of the west, 25 to 28 on the north-east, and up to 29/32 on the extreme south-east.
