The popular movement in Algeria announced yesterday its rejection of the comprehensive national dialogue called for by the interim Algerian President Abdelkader Ben Saleh to reiterate his adherence to his basic demand for a radical change of regime.

Thousands of protesters left yesterday for the 23rd time to renew their commitment to the departure of all symbols of the regime and to the establishment of the civil order of the state, while declaring their rejection of the national dialogue adopted by the presidency.

In the Algerian capital, demonstrators waved slogans rejecting dialogue and antagonizing the members of the team chosen to lead the effort. The provinces of Bejaia, Tizi Ouzou, Constantine and other cities have seen the same scenes, with a decline in the number of demonstrators compared to previous marches.

During his meeting with the team chosen to lead the national dialogue, Algerian interim President Abdelkader Ben Saleh made a commitment to work to ease the security measures accompanying the rallies of the people and to facilitate the arrival of the demonstrators, as well as calling for the judiciary to consider the possibility of releasing the detainees of the movement.
