The agency said that the campaign precedes the seasons of the emergence and spread of the most common diseases and the most dangerous animal health, in order to prevent livestock from disease, through reducing disease epidemics of disease, and increase immunity to animals, and reduce the need for the use of veterinary medicines and medicines, and the eradication of diseases in the long term, Conservation of livestock and increasing the economic return of livestock breeders.

The campaign will continue until May next year, through four stages: the first dose includes vaccination against PPR for sheep and goats, the second stage immunization against foot-and-mouth disease and quarantine, the third immunization against small ruminant pests, and IV immunization against foot-and-mouth disease.

And stressed the importance of immunization of livestock according to immunization program approved vaccines, to protect and reduce the incidence of epidemic diseases, pointing to the importance of restricting livestock farmers tips and awareness programs, and the introduction of new animals to the herd only after the stone, and ensure the safety of diseases to avoid outbreaks of diseases in the herd, calling Livestock Breeders to communicate with the nearest veterinary clinic, to determine when to benefit from the vaccination campaign.

She pointed out that immunization campaigns, implemented since 2009, have contributed significantly to the eradication of smallpox disease, and reduce seasonal diseases that may affect livestock and reduce the spread, and provided more than 54 million doses of livestock in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in various diseases.
