According to RIA Novosti, the site is currently unavailable in Latvia.
It is noted that the Latvian Foreign Ministry decided to block the site due to the fact that Baltnews.lv "violates the EU regulation of March 17, 2014 on sanctions in connection with the threat to the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine."
Earlier, the first deputy chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, Vladimir Jabarov, commented in an interview with RT, that in an article in the official journal of the Estonian Defense Forces, Sõdur, Sputnik was described as an ominous propaganda channel.
