The prime minister, Édouard Philippe, called on Wednesday to "pay close attention to the isolated people", during the heat wave that falls on France, on the sidelines of the visit of an accommodation facility for elderly dependents to Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine).

"We have to be careful: pay attention to ourselves, hydrate ourselves, but most of all, pay attention to others - even those we think are healthy - pay close attention to isolated people, make sure they are healthy. 'moisturize and feed properly, making sure to detect the first symptoms of heat stroke,' said the head of government.

Accompanied by the Minister of Health, Agnès Buzyn, Édouard Philippe went in the late afternoon to a facility in the western suburbs of Paris, the Roguet Foundation.

"We are less worried about those who are in the Ehpad today, because there is a lot of care, a lot of attention to them, and more worried about those who are isolated, either outside - I think of homeless people, or people who live alone at home: this isolation can be dangerous, "warned the Prime Minister.
