Heat wave: 80 departments in orange vigilance, a record

Eighty-one departments were placed Tuesday on alert orange weather, including 80 because of the heat wave, a record, said Météo-France.

Almost all of France, with the exception of the three departments of western Brittany, around the Mediterranean and Corsica, are now alert heat wave, and five departments are also concerned by an orange vigilance related to the risk of severe thunderstorms.
