In the wake of Japan-Korea export restrictions, Japan-US Trade Minister Yoo Myeong-hee, the chief negotiator for trade and industry, has begun work to draw US support and mediation.

"We will explain to the US that Japan's export control measures have a negative impact on not only Korea but also the international economy, including the United States," said Yu Myung-hee, trade negotiator at the Washington airport.

Two weeks ago, Yoo said, "The price of semiconductor DRAM has been raised by 23% for two weeks compared to the time of visit to Cheong Wa Dae National Security Office."

"We will explain to the American people through concrete data and examples that Japan's export control measures are linked to all products that use semiconductors and affect the global economy," Yoo said.

During his visit to the United States on May 27, Yu said, "I will meet a variety of people from the economic and trade fields." He did not specify who he would meet.

The visit of the United States to the United States on May 10, Kim Hyun-jong, the second vice-chief of the National Security Office visited the United States.

In particular, the visit to the United States by US Secretary of State John Bolton is more interested in the visit to Japan and South Korea by the National Security Adviser of the White House, and discussing the issue of export control in Japan at the World Trade Organization General Council.
