The electoral process of the Federal National Council will begin on August 7 with the announcement of the opening of the candidacy for the elections. The voting process will take place from September 22 to October 5.

The National Committee shall fully supervise the conduct of the electoral process and implement it fairly and transparently, through the terms of reference stipulated in Article (5) of the Decision of the President of the United Arab Emirates No. (3) of 2006 and its amendments. The date of the elections in each emirate, the manner and time of the appeals in the elections, the date of the announcement of the final results of the elections, the call for elections in each emirate, The formation of the electoral sub-committees, the precise definition of their competencies and the formation of the task forces charged with the implementation of the electoral process. They may also be assisted by those who are experienced and competent in their respective fields.

The tasks of the National Committee include: Issuing the electoral evidence necessary for the implementation of the elections in all its aspects, and adopting the proposals submitted by the subcommittees regarding the forms, tables, documents and the official seals for the electoral process, and approving the headquarters of the electoral centers in each emirate, An estimate budget for the electoral process and its inclusion within the general budget of the state, and the adoption of financial rewards for workers in the elections on the proposal of the Election Management Committee, and the announcement of the final results of the elections, And take the necessary measures to complete the membership of the winners in the Council.

In Abu Dhabi, the Executive Director of the Department of Citizen Affairs at the Office of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Chairman of the Emirate Committee Saif Ali Saif Al Qubaisi, and in Dubai Deputy Director General of the Diwan of the Ruler of Dubai, Chairman of the Emirate Committee Ahmed Mohammed Bin Humaidan, Sharjah Legal Counsel at the Legal Department of the Ruler's Office of Sharjah, Chairman of the Emirate Committee Issa Saif Bin Hanal, Ajman Director General of Human Resources Department in Ajman Government, Chairman of the Emirate Committee, Rashid Abdul Rahman Bin Jubran Al Suwaidi, Umm Al Quwain Governorate Director General of Fujairah Police and Chairman of the Emirate Committee, Maj. All technical and administrative matters related to the conduct of elections in the Emirate shall be carried out by the Emirates Committees in coordination with the Election Management Committee. In particular, it has to determine its headquarters in the Emirate, receive the final list of the electoral body, notify its members, and provide the electoral process forms at its headquarters, after receiving them from the Election Management Committee, and coordinating with the Municipality of the Emirate to determine the places of electoral publicity for the candidates. In coordination with the Election Management Committee, and to determine the places of holding seminars and meetings conducted by candidates with members of the electoral bodies, and receipt of applications for candidacy after confirming the availability of conditions in them, and submitted to the Election Management Committee, The rules of the electoral campaigns in the Emirate, the reporting and observations of any irregularities to the Election Management Committee, as well as contributing to awareness raising and education related to the elections and the establishment of the necessary rules and guidelines for the conduct of the electoral process.

The National Committee shall take full responsibility for the conduct of the electoral process and shall implement it impartially and transparently.

The march of the Federal National Council elections begins on the seventh of next August by opening the door for candidacy.
