The Ministry of Health of the Trans-Baikal Territory will conduct an internal audit on the complaint of residents of the village of Vershino-Darasunsky, Tungokochensky District. On Sunday, at a meeting with the head of the region, Alexander Osipov, they reported on the absence of medical supplies and supplies at the local hospital. One of the residents said that patients even had to wash dirty bandages. After publication in the media, the local prosecutor's office began to verify its start.

On Sunday, July 21, Acting Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory, Alexander Osipov, together with government officials, went on a working visit to the Tungokochensky District. At first he talked to the miners of the Darasunsky mine, who mined gold, and also descended into the mine for almost half a kilometer.

Then Osipov went to the village of Vershino-Darasunsky, where the 157th anniversary of the settlement was celebrated on this day. A full hall gathered at the meeting with the head of the region in the local House of Culture. In addition to the official part with the awarding of local leaders of the production, the acting governor answered questions from the audience.

One of the residents told Osipova about the monstrous situation at the local hospital.

“Sometimes, they washed their own bandages, because it was not possible to buy. I would like to know why? For some reason, the Ministry of Health sends a request to the hospital about the provision of medicines, and force them to respond that everything is there, ”a local resident of the Chita.ru newspaper quotes.

She added that free medicines, prescribed by law, are not given to anyone - even young children.

In turn, the head of the region, responding to the claim, lamented the lack of funds for medicines.

“The situation is bad. In order to ensure all, no money. Our region is different in that the budget is smaller, but people are sick more often. With a need of 800 million rubles, 200 were allocated. We ask the Russian Federation to help us with financing. I hope that such a decision will be made, ”the same edition quotes Osipov.

On Monday morning, the situation was responded to in the regional Ministry of Health. At the operational meeting, Minister Valery Kozhevnikov said that the department would conduct an official inspection.

“The situation in the district hospital of the village of Vershino-Darasounsky is under my personal control. Monthly expenses in the medical organization amount to more than 170 thousand rubles, the stock of all medicines is designed for almost eight months, in particular, bandages in the hospital today 184 pieces. Therefore, we will thoroughly check the information on the “washing of bandages by patients”, ”the official website of the department quotes the statement of the minister.

In the prosecutor's office of the Trans-Baikal Territory, as RT became known, after publication in the media they also began to check the observance of the citizens' right to health care. The Office has agreed to conduct a corresponding unscheduled inspection by Roszdravnadzor bodies.

“Prosecutors have attracted specialists from regulatory agencies, requested the necessary documents and carried out other verification measures. If violations are revealed, comprehensive response measures will be taken to eliminate them, as well as to restore the violated rights of the residents of the village, ”the regional prosecutor’s office told RT.

Another resident of Vershino-Darasunsky, Inna Babenko, at a meeting with the governor, criticized the work of the district authorities, and also complained about the poor state of local medicine after the optimization of medical institutions.

“I stood in line for 10 days to go to the hospital. My daughter is a doctor, but no cronyism, I waited for 10 days, I bought 3,000 medicines for myself to take a dip. The hospital is generally horrible, it’s not that the plaster is falling from the ceiling, there are holes in my hand, the coldness is terrible there, ”the newspaper“ Vechorka ”quotes.

Babenko’s daughter, who came from Ukraine and arranged for a family doctor at a local hospital, said that she did not receive either accommodation or accommodation.

“Where do I live?” In the department? I rent an apartment, pay more than 13 thousand rubles excluding utilities. The minimum wage is 8 thousand, it goes surcharges. But I do not receive either district or northern. I was given an effective contract for 40 thousand, otherwise I would have worked for 20 thousand like a janitor, like a cleaner. Why did I study then for 8 years? Who will go to Transbaikalia with such conditions? ”The woman said.

The problems with financing in the regional Ministry of Health have been discussed before. In November of last year, Sergey Davydov, then minister, declared that health care in the region is the most under-funded in the country, with a deficit of 3.8 billion rubles.

He noted that in the conditions of an acute shortage of funds, the Ministry of Healthcare of the region is forced to optimize institutions and adjust staffing tables in accordance with the actual burden on health workers.

“We simply have no other way. We will never pay back, we will just eat up everything, ”said Davydov, who resigned in early March 2019.
